Jun. 13th, 2012 04:03 pm[Look kids! It's Mister Bush! He hasn't quite touched his journal since the little snafu when he first arrived questioning the gender of volunteers, but now he has a question for you all.]
Is there more than one town like this here? The Malnosso called us 'Region 6'. What do you suppose they mean by that?

Jun. 1st, 2012 06:00 pm[This event had been....tiresome for Bush. But that went without saying when the three people you spent the most time either looking after or talking with turned into little imps.
Not literally but....might as well have. Bush prayed that this might be over soon, because he did not feel he was particularly cut out for this.
Minding a crew? Yes, no doubt he was equal to the task. But watching after little children? Particularly when two of them he had known for a long while now? It was maddening. He felt it strange to call Kennedy and Hornblower by their rank as he typically would, but he had plenty of slip ups as the days went by.
Little Jilly wasn't too much trouble to watch on her own but the three combined?
Bush would be sent to an early grave, he swore.
But at this moment, he thought he was alone. He thought he could have some peace and quiet.
How wrong he was.]
Not literally but....might as well have. Bush prayed that this might be over soon, because he did not feel he was particularly cut out for this.

[If one happened to notice, William Bush - a man who took such pride in his rank - wasn't wearing his uniform today. One could hardly expect him to wear the same thing every day when he had access to fresh water at the turn of a knob and more clothes than he could shake a stick at. To be perfectly frank, this was the wealthiest he'd ever found himself and he had absolutely no money to show for it.
Not that he was complaining about that. Restlessness, yes. There was only so much a man could occupy himself with before he went stir-crazy and started looking for plots of earth to make a garden in.

Which was why he was headed to the center of town at this very moment for seeds and implements with which to dig and such. If anyone remembered him from his earlier post then he'd be in some serious hot water.]

I'm -- ah -- not sure if anybody is listening to this. This is a message to Luceti. [He pronounced it wrong. Whichever way you pronounce it, Lucetians, he did it wrong. Judge him and his lack of talent with foreign words.]
There is a ship in port, The Britannia. Quite a beauty, I have to commend Mr Kennedy for the design of her. Unfortunately she's come to be rather understaffed, so if there are any men who are interesting in crewing her....I'm sure her captain would appreciate it greatly.
That is all...back to your business.
